Hey there world… I’m DeAndre Wright and I’m from good ol’ Houston Texas.
To tell you the truth, I should have been blogging a lonnnggg time ago. I’ve had some really interesting experiences and have been quite a few places but I’ve been fighting the blogging world for a while lol. Today, as I was sitting in my room reflecting about my life, I made the choice to share myself with people that are willing to “listen”. I figured that I now I have the chance to completely express myself uninterrupted… so I guess I’m going to JUST DO IT…
Here’s a (kinda) quick glimpse of who I am and what I’ve been up to…
I am:
- the daughter of Jimmie and Lillie, stepdaughter to Bonita and Roger, sister of Terald, Deangela, and Roger…
- …on top of them,I have a HUGE family as you can see :)
- I am a friend to many and hopefully foe to a only a few (if I have any out there)…
- a former student of Betsy Ross Elementary, Clifton Middle School, Kashmere High School’s Conrad O. Johnson School of Fine Arts (Valedictorian of my class :-)
- a graduate of the University of Houston’s English-Creative Writing program (with honors… so proud)
- I’m a former intern of Music World Entertainment… Home of Beyonce Knowles and Destiny’s Child
- a former street team member of 104.1 KRBE (and that is Alicia Keys pictured if you’re wondering)…
- a former slave of corporate America… (I hope to never go back. Seriously.) Lol
- …but overall, I’m a true artistic individual and singing/writing is my passion.
I’m sure that is a bit to soak in and that the pix are an eyeful but I just wanted to make a proper introduction to you lovely people. I’ve been exposed to so many wonderful things that I had to narrow it down a little. But anywho… if you’re willing to get to know me, I’m willing to dish :) Get ready because this is about to be interesting lol…
