Her name is Emilie Parker… she was one of the 20 children killed in Newtown. Her photo represents so many things to me and the way her dad talked about her… I just know she was love.
There are so many little children out there, abused… sexually, physically and even murdered. When I was a child, I remember believing in the world and love. I remember trusting people. I want to give that back to every person I meet, to every child I encounter. I’m a big kid even now, my parents did everything to protect me but God saw fit for me to continue to be blessed with life.
I don’t know when my days will end, but I know I will try to keep love and life in my heart just like little Emilie and all of the other innocents.

This story totally broke my heart… I pray to God that something is done about gun control laws. I also feel like we need to stop ignoring mental illness, it’s no longer something we can sweep under the rug. God bless the souls of the little ones lost and those brave school staffers that were taken from the world. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
